5 to 7 Educator Rewards Robot Factory

Robot Factory has won a silver award from 5 to 7 Educator magazine! The 5 to 7 Educator Awards were introduced this year in order to identify and reward excellence in educational products that have been designed for children in key stage 1. Robot Factory has been developed by Awen to provide a fun environment where pupils learn about mathematical concepts.

Pogos venture over to the Royal Welsh Show

Pogos on the Farm was launched today on the Awen stand at the Royal Welsh show. The Pogos, who first appeared at the bottom of the garden last year, have now ventured on to the farm to learn about animals and their noises, how the farm contributes to everyday life, and how the farmer dresses appropriately for any weather.
Llanidloes Primary School Wins Awen Prize

Bilingual Pogos gets Nominated for British Educational Award

The friendly Pogos CD-ROM created by Awen have been nominated for one of the main educational resource awards in Britain. Awen, a Welsh software company based in Cardiff designed Pogos to develop ICT, creativity and numeracy skills for children in the Early Years.
The Education Resources Awards, organised by BESA (British Educational Supplier Association) has shortlisted Awen's Pogos in the Early Years Resources and Equipment involving ICT category.
Gold for Word World

Playing and Learning - board games for Welsh learners

A new board game will go on sale this week that will make learning Welsh a fun, sociable occasion for all the family. Hwyl Drwy'r Flwyddyn, produced by Awen, helps players build confidence in their Welsh oral skills.
Hwyl Drwy'r Flwyddyn is great for the home, for community groups as well as the Welsh class with bilingual instructions and suggestions on how to adapt the games to suit different levels of Welsh ability. There are six games in one box which provide opportunities to practice language patterns and a range of vocabulary on themes such as foods, clothes and toys.
New Titles for a New Term

Awen, the educational software specialist, are celebrating the beginning of a new school year by releasing a colourful and entertaining series of CD-ROMs.
Word World is a delightful series of three CD-ROMs, aiming to develop the vocabulary of pupil in the Early Years. Each disc concentrates on a separate theme, namely: animals, the weather and friends.
All Change at B-DAG

At the National Urdd Eisteddfod in Carmarthenshire this week the re-branding of B-DAG will be revealed. The company will now be called Awen.
